Any given Sunday...

So all weekend I've pretty much done nothing but work on my latest video project while watching the Back To The Future Trilogy over and over on one of the college movie networks. (It's kids and sibs weekend, so the university made sure to have relatively clean movies on.) I've never really watched the trilogy ever, so I did finally get to see the whole thing over the weekend. I also watched a bit of National Lampoon's Vacation and Indiana Jones, which were featured on the other university channels :-P

My project is roughly about halfway finished. It's taking quite some time because it's sort of a music video for a 4-1/2 minute song. It's also kind of a revolutionary work for me because I am teaching myself how to sync up animation with speaking (I made a smiley that sings the song... And this is the first time I've animated lip syncing). It's not as hard as I thought it would be, once you get the jist of it. I think if I had a more advanced program like Flash I could shit done a lot faster.

The second half of the video is going to be a bit more complex than the first half, so I'll keep working on it and try to get it online as soon as possible.

As for now, it's a nice day and I missed out on most of it, so I think I'm going to take a break from the computer in order to hang out with Luke.
